Ergonomics scan: Building a healthy and efficient workplace
An ergonomic scan helps optimise workstations and working conditions while reduce risks. The process consists of three key steps:
1. Preparation
The ergonomist gathers preliminary information about workstations, tasks, the working environment and employees.
2. On-site visit
During a company visit, the ergonomist analyses tasks, work methods, equipment and the working environment. Measurements and employee interviews provide both objective data and personal insights. The day concludes with a debriefing and initial recommendations.
3. Report
The report includes an overview of risks, a plan for quick improvements (“Quick Wins”) and recommandations at the human, technical and organisational levels. A long-term vision may also be included.

WSFZ profides financial support of up to €2,250 for an ergonomics scan.
