The Guarantee and Social Fund for Sea Fisheries has a cooperation agreement with Alimento, which provides for financial assistance from the fund to offer training courses for employees working in warehouses.

These training courses cover topics such as:

• Food safety: HACCP in the workplace, Food Safety Culture
• Food technology
• Logistics: Internal transport, lorry driver
• Technical training
• First aid
• Dutch in the workplace
• Personal skills: Communication and leadership, conducting feedback interviews, train the trainer
• ...

There are three types of training courses:

1. Open Alimento training courses: These courses are organised by Alimento as standard for various sectors.
2. Open training courses from an Alimento-approved teacher: You can find approved teachers on the Alimento website.
3. In-company training with an Alimento-approved trainer: The trainer comes to the company itself to deliver the training.
