Syndical Premium
Which employees are entitled to the syndical premium?
You are entitled to the syndical premium if, on 30 June, you have at least six months' seniority within the sector (PC 143).
And if you are up to date with your trade union contributions.
How much is the syndical premium?
The bonus amounts to €145 for a full year.
For employees who have not been employed for the entire reference period, work part-time or have flexi-jobs, it is granted on a pro rata basis.
The reference period runs from 1 July of the previous year to 30 June of the current year.
Where to submit your application?
The trade union premium is paid by the employee organisations represented in the Joint Committee for Sea Fishing upon presentation of the form completed by the employer(s) and issued by the Guarantee and Social Fund for the Sea Fisheries sector (WSFZ).
The forms are distributed to employees by the Fund via the employees' organisation.
When is the payment made?
The trade union contribution is paid during the third quarter of the current year.
A former colleague may be entitled to the contribution?
Employees who are no longer active in the sector but who meet the eligibility criteria can contact their trade union.
